Controlling the meeting
Before the meeting
Before a meeting starts, head on over to your account page and click the gear icon on a space.
Under ‘space settings’, you can set the spaces name, welcome message, and world.

Under ‘space customization’, you can set custom behaviors. The top three toggles control whether these features are available to participants:
- Stage Microphone: enabling this gives anyone who walks on a podium a microphone that makes them audible across the whole space. A reason to disable this might be for meetings with people who don’t know eachother, and the possibility abusing the microphone.
- Screen sharing: enabling this gives anyone the ability to click on a yellow projector and share their screen inside the world. A reason to disable this might be for meetings with people who don’t know eachother, and the possibility abusing screensharing.
- Radio: enabling this turns on the radio, which anyone can turn on, or change channels, by clicking it. You might want to turn this off you have a work meeting that you don’t want derailed by someone turning on music.
- Skip first time tutorial: by default, anyone who is new to Mibo ends up in a tutorial world where they learn the basics, before moving on to the ‘actual’ learning space. In some cases, you as a host might want to take the ‘teacher’ role yourself: in that case you can choose to skip the tutorial. In that case, new users end up directly in the meeting space, so you can introduce them in person.
